William and Nathan were wedded on gorgeous July day. The following images are provided by Kelly Brown Weddings, and they captured every rich detail. The event was draped in rich fabrics in chocolate browns, greens, and oranges, everything fit just so.
The reception and ceremony were both at the Lowertown Event Center, the venue was perfect for their vision. All the exposed stone walls, and beams with the crystal chandeliers a perfect mix of rustic and class. The ceremony had a fantastic accent wall with worn wood, with tall pristine cylinders full of curly willow and calla lilies.
From the masculine table linens to the prohibition style bottles, luscious fabric wrapped vases and tall gilded candle sticks with a rounded arrangement on top. The colors all worked wonderfully in the space, and every table was different, but everything was lush and rich. And no detail was missed, thanks to Sunrise Styling and Linen Effects.
The harvest table was lush and gorgeous, with chocolate linens and mercury glass votives adorned the whole table. Even the grooms’ chairs matched the space perfectly!

We are thrilled to share Katie & Jack’s beautiful wedding photos by Paul Vincent Photography. We’re enamored with the combo of soft pastels with a jolt of rich red, giving the vintage designs a rustic edge.
This adorable couple was married September 21st at Lake of the Isles Church, with the reception at Interlachen Country Club. Katie carried a bouquet of white garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, hypericum berries, and seeded eucalyptus. Her bridesmaids, clad in petal chiffon gowns clutched bouquets of light pink garden roses, red ranunculus, dusty miller, and eucalyptus.
Guest tables were topped with flowering birch trees and lush floral balls of white hydrangea, garden roses, and dripping greens. With accents of candlelight and gold mercury glass, the reception evoked the romance of cozy, chic lodge.
How adorable are these baby’s breath monograms of the bride and groom’s first initial?

As promised, here’s a closer look at Amy and Jake’s romantic wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion on May 18th. We were swooning for Amy’s soft bouquet of blush peonies, white dahlias, peach roses, and dusty miller. Amy’s intricate lace gown was the perfect backdrop for the beautiful composition.
For the happy couple’s stylishly rustic inspired reception, tables were adored with arrangements of white, blush, peach, and silver flowers. Silver and mercury glass embellishments kept the look fresh and modern.

Elizabeth and Cory were married on May 26, 2013 at the iconic Nicollet Island Pavilion. It only took a glimpse at the bridesmaids’ unique gold deco dresses for us to fall in love with this wedding. With a slightly rustic, vintage, but very chic milieu, the happy couple had everyone feeling gay. The bridesmaids’ runway worthy dresses were complimented by soft cream, blush, and ivory flowers. Elizabeth carried a stunning bouquet of fragrant blush peonies wrapped in lux velvet champagne ribbon.
Inside the Pavilion, guest tables glistened with mercury glass containers filled with blush, cream, green, and ivory flowers. Birch branches were adorned with delicate orchid blooms, lending a rustic feel to the opulent champagne linens and gold chiavari chairs. The evening was complete with a tempting spread of tasty desserts by Cocoa & Fig for guests to nibble on.
Special thanks to all the fabulous vendors we were able to collaborate with: Red Ribbon Studios Park Place Planning and Events, Cocoa & Fig, Avant Decor, Linen Effects, Paperista, and Mintahoe Catering.

Last summer we were fortunate enough to take part in a give-away wedding along with some of the Twin City’s finest vendors. Our couple, Alexa & Zach, could not have been more deserving. They are perhaps the sweetest, most tender, fun, and gracious couple we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. With the incredible planning of Rocket Science Weddings and Events, this celebration was truly unique an unforgettable. We’re so thankful we were able to take part along side the most creative and innovative minds in the industry. Enjoy these gorgeous photos by Erin Johnson Photography!

Amanda and Josh were married February 16 in Redwood Falls. With plenty of love left over from Valentine’s Day, their fete was full of romance. We were particularly enthralled with the lush arrangements of cream and blush flowers, accented by soft candle light. Devine gold mercury glass vases were topped with lavish displays of light pink hydrangea, blush roses, and blush stock. Thanks to the expert planning by Sarah Trotter at Lasting Impressions, Amanda & Josh truly shared a fairytale wedding.

We were recently fortunate enough to play a part in one of the most fun and creative inspiration shoots ever! Collaborating with Erin at Blooma Designs and Katrina from Studio Laguna Photography, we channeled our inner Nordmenn and thought like a Scandinavian bride. The result was an irresistible feast of texture! We utilized a variety of contrasting components including grasses, seeds, thistle, pods, fruit, and branches. All these elements worked together to highlight the delicate blooms of lisianthus, anemone, muscari, and fritillaria which ensured a softer, more bridal appearance. One our favorite components of the shoot was the magnolia table runner that curved along the natural farm table, providing depth and warmth for the floral pieces.
This shoot was a dream to be a part of! Huge thank-yous to Blooma Designs, Studio Laguna, CRAVE Catering, Rudy’s Rustic Rentals, Heimie’s Haberdashery, Che Bella, Onsite Muse, Linen Effects, Patrice Soehnlein, and Minnesota Boat Club.
