Last weekend we had the pleasure of designing Amy & Jake’s dreamy wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion. We were swooning over the soft blushes and peaches, perfectly accented with pops of silver. Once again, thanks to flawless planning by Lasting Impressions Weddings, the couple shared the perfect beginning to their happy ever after.

Last summer we were fortunate enough to take part in a give-away wedding along with some of the Twin City’s finest vendors. Our couple, Alexa & Zach, could not have been more deserving. They are perhaps the sweetest, most tender, fun, and gracious couple we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. With the incredible planning of Rocket Science Weddings and Events, this celebration was truly unique an unforgettable. Who says jewel tones are just for fall? With luxurious a hues as emerald and lapis, we think they should be indulged year round. That’s why we were thrilled to be a part of this lux styled shoot by Life Design Events. Rich jewel tones played off metallic accents, making each detail more regal than the one before. For the tablescape we filled funky copper mercury glass containers with lush blooms of deep lapis hydrangea. Each place setting was complete with individual mini cakes with unique ornate designs by Buttercream Minnetonka- so regal and opulent! The bridal bouquet which consisted of white freesia, green ranunculus, and pops of lapis muscari was made complete with gold lame ribbon and an oversized emerald pendant. Amanda and Josh were married February 16 in Redwood Falls. With plenty of love left over from Valentine’s Day, their fete was full of romance. We were particularly enthralled with the lush arrangements of cream and blush flowers, accented by soft candle light. Devine gold mercury glass vases were topped with lavish displays of light pink hydrangea, blush roses, and blush stock. Thanks to the expert planning by Sarah Trotter at Lasting Impressions, Amanda & Josh truly shared a fairytale wedding.

We are proud to announce that we have been selected by Minnesota Meetings + Events along with all their readers, as Best Florist of 2012. We would like to extend our thanks to the Magazine for honoring us with this award. We could not be more excited! It is such an honor to be recognized among our fellow nominees.
Each year M+E Magazine hosts an amazing party for all the nominees, and this year’s soiree at the Swedish Institute was no exception. Sipping cocktails and nibbling on fantastic apps (beef tenderloin with horseradish cream anyone?), we relished the evening connecting with many exceptional vendors in the Cities. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of this fun celebration!

We had a blast designing this to-die-for wedding! From silver trees popping with orange gerbera daisies, to Lisa’s texture crazed bouquet, this wedding was the epitome of fun at every turn. Our favorite spectacle however, were the white bookshelves donned with striking delphinium arrangements. Tucked in the shelves were guest escort cards, mod boxes of wheat grass and playful photos of the happy couple.

We are beyond honored to be recognized along with so many distinguished vendors. This is our second consecutive nomination, and we owe a huge thank you to the readers of M+E Magazine for supporting us again and again. We always look forward to socializing and connecting with the best vendors in the Twin Cities at the ceremony. What a wonderful way to kick off our 2013 season!

We were recently fortunate enough to play a part in one of the most fun and creative inspiration shoots ever! Collaborating with Erin at Blooma Designs and Katrina from Studio Laguna Photography, we channeled our inner Nordmenn and thought like a Scandinavian bride. The result was an irresistible feast of texture! We utilized a variety of contrasting components including grasses, seeds, thistle, pods, fruit, and branches to deliver an ethnic and primitive look. All these elements worked together to highlight the delicate blooms of lisianthus, anemone, muscari, and fritillaria which ensured a softer, more bridal appearance. One our favorite components of the shoot was the magnolia table runner that curved along the natural farm table, providing depth and warmth for the floral pieces.
This shoot was a dream to be a part of! Huge thank-yous to Blooma Designs, Studio Laguna, CRAVE Catering, Rudy’s Rustic Rentals, Heimie’s Haberdashery, Che Bella, Onsite Muse, Linen Effects, Patrice Soehnlein, and Minnesota Boat Club.

Liz and Paul were married on a snowy winters day in February. As snow fell outside, it appeared to be falling inside too. We lavished the McNamara Alumni Center in lush white flowers and flocked birch. Crystals glimmered in the soft candlelight, adding a touch of romance. Liz carried a decadent bouquet of White Dove roses while her maids clutched bouquets of burgundy roses, calla lilies, and purple lisianthus. The girls were the epitome of winter glam in their cozy fur stoles.
